Work is on the agenda for Daniel and Charlotte Peart from Whittlesey in Cambridgeshire, England. That’s despite the fact that they were EuroMillions winners of £1m after playing Hot Picks.
Their big win came from the last £1.50 in their National Lottery account and the couple decided to take four months off. They took the time off to spend with their three children.
A delighted Mr Peart, 28, who is a self-employed carpenter, said it had been “great” to take a long break and “enjoy some time with the kids”. He added that their EuroMillions win had “really taken the pressure off.”
His wife, 28, is an admin worker and had told her boss she’d return to work when “ready.” The EuroMillions winners added that they regularly look at a Facebook group for lottery winners. Doing so allows them to “see what everyone else is doing” and “get ideas for the future.”
They also recently met several other millionaires at a Christmas party for young carers. The party saw the winners become chauffeurs, bartenders and face painters. All of which pleased the couple who just love Christmas. “It’s so nice to do something for children that don’t get a Christmas,” said the generous EuroMillions winners.
It’s been a busy time for the couple since their EuroMillions HotPicks win. They’ve bought two new cars and went on holiday to Lapland. The couple also bought a new four-bedroom detached house, finally allowing their children to have their own bedrooms.
Now their heading back to work in 2019 with the security of their lottery win.
