Hard Christmases Over for $9.1 million Lottery Winner
A Melbourne mother wants to become an “angel” for her friends and family this year. That’s not going to be too
difficult for the Australian. She’s celebrating winning a $9.1 million Keno lottery prize on November 27.
The winner has decided to remain anonymous, but we do know she is a mother who lives in Reservoir, which is in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. With her $9.1 million Keno Mega Millions windfall, she now wants to hep her friends and family.
“We’ve had a few hard Christmases. No one’s having a hard Christmas this year. I’m going to be their angel this Christmas,” the delighted lottery winner said.
When discovering that playing the Keno Mega Millions draw had made her a millionairess, she just couldn’t believe it. In fact, she thought a heart attack was on the way.
Thankfully, it wasn’t and she is thanking her special numbers that she uses in every draw for this lottery success. “They’re my children’s birthdates, my puppy’s birthday and numbers like that,” she revealed. For some reason, the winner says that she always feels lucky in the lead up to Christmas.
The successful lottery player already has big plans for her win. It will help her fulfil her wish of being able to buy her own home. However, the win is great news for those who know her as she goes into Christmas angel mode.
“There’s so many people I’m going to help. I’ll buy my children a house each and help some friends who’ve been doing it tough.”
Not just a jackpot win
Her lottery jackpot win was $6,815,227 and her ticket was purchased on the Keno app. She didn’t just win the jackpot though. Success was also achieved in the 7, 8 and 9 spot jackpots as she used the same lucky numbers on each spot. That won her another $2.3 million, giving her a total win of $9.1 million.
She summed up her feelings about the lottery win when saying: “This could not have happened at a better time for my family.”
