David Swatman from Manchester in England is celebrating after winning £100,000 on a National Lottery Super Cash Bonus scratch card and he believes the win wouldn’t have happened without the help of his late grandfather.
The 39-year-old was stunned when his beloved grandfather died last May but believes he was “looking down on me, wherever he is”- and his National Lottery Super Cash Bonus scratch card windfall was “all down to him”. He keeps a photograph of him next to his television and says ” I still like to have conversations with him as if he is still with us ”
One night David, who works as a delivery driver was watching a documentary about lottery winners and he remember asking his late grandfather to look after him and bless him with a win. Now that big win has come along thanks to the National Lottery Super Cash Bonus scratch card and he says, “I can’t believe what he’s done.” John Biddlecombe from Derbyshire, England, said his £20,000 UK Lotto win was thanks to his late wife.
The lucky National Lottery Super Cash Bonus scratch card winner said that he “jumped around the room cheering and screaming” when he realised he was a winner, but still went to work for an 11-hour shift. English woman Patricia Aldridge still worked a 12-hour shift on Christmas Day despite a recent £1m UK Lotto win.
“My shift started at 1.30am I was on such a high. There was no way I was going to call in sick though, I have lots of people that depend on me,” said the National Lottery Super Cash Bonus scratch card winner. He worked all weekend and only on Monday did the win begin to sink in. It’s the latest big win in Manchester after a factory syndicate won £60,000 playing EuroMillions.
Although David lives in Manchester, the National Lottery Super Cash Bonus scratch card winner loves watching Liverpool play. That doesn’t happen too often though due to work commitments. Now he wants to use some of his National Lottery Super Cash Bonus scratch card winnings to buy hospitality tickets for him and his friends if Liverpool reach the Champions League final. In 2014 a syndicate of Aston Villa fans won a £1 EuroMillions prize.
He also plans to go to Australia to see his parents. English couple John and Jenny Taylor headed down under after their £137,945.40 EuroMillions windfall.
