Powerball winner comes from North Carolina and other Lottery results
It was a successful weekend for a Powerball winner that hails from North Carolina. They took down a jackpot worth $344.6m in the Saturday night draw.
Powerball success for North Carolina
Powerball was one of the largest lottery jackpots available but was finally won on 1 June. The winner matched the numbers: 06-15-34-45-52 and the Powerball was 8.
The new multimillionaire is yet to come forward and lottery officials are urging the winner to sign the back of their ticket.
The next draw on Wednesday will be worth $40 million.
With Powerball being won, that leaves Mega Millions as the biggest jackpot in the USA. On Friday, players failed to match the numbers: 7-8-26-65-67 and the Mega Ball of 4.
That means that the next draw on Tuesday will be worth a massive $475 million.
Almost time for EuroMillions Superdraw
After two jackpot winners in last Tuesday’s draw, there were no winners in the Friday drawing of EuroMillions. With €17m on the line, no one matched the numbers: 1-23-24-26-35 and the Lucky Stars were 1 and 11.
The Tuesday draw will be worth €25m and is the last drawing before the Superdraw on 7 June.
Make sure you get your tickets for the guaranteed €130m jackpot in Friday’s Superdraw.
SuperEnaloto still to be won
The second biggest jackpot in the world can be found in Italy. On Saturday, the SuperEnaloto jackpot stood at €161.8m but there were no matches for the numbers: 17-19-24-46-48-72.
It has been almost a full year since the last jackpot win on 23 June 2018. The Tuesday draw has a €163.1m jackpot and it’s about time someone took the jackpot home.
The weekly Euro Jackpot also took place last Friday and there were no winners of the €31m top prize. Players were trying to match the following numbers: 10-12-35-36-43 and the Euro numbers of 2 and 5. The next draw on 7 June will have a jackpot of €42m.
More Lottery winners across Europe
For the third draw in a row, the UK Lotto jackpot is whisking its way to one lucky winner. The jackpot was at £3.8m and the matched numbers were: 8-26-36-39-40-47 and Bonus of 42. To claim the jackpot they only had to match the six main numbers. The draw on Wednesday will be back to a jackpot of £2m.
Elsewhere across Europe, there were a series of rollovers. The Lotto 6 aus 45, La Primitiva, Bonoloto, El Gordo and Lotto 6 aus 49 all failed to produce a winner.
