NO EASTER SUPERENALOTTO LOTTERY JACKPOT WINNER

Over Easter, the players of Italy’s SuperEnalotto lottery did not get a jackpot win. Good Friday could have been Great Friday for some if only they’d won Thursday 28th March’s lottery jackpot worth €18,800,000.

Unfortunately it was not meant to be, and neither was winning the lotto jackpot on Saturday 30th March (€19,400,000), or on Tuesday 2nd April (€20,000,000). However, we’re sure SuperEnalotto players still had enough Euros left over to purchase plenty of Easter Eggs to appease their disappointment. Of course it would have been nice to see another lottery jackpot win, the last being only a few weeks ago.

That was a whopping €53.3 million won by an Italian syndicate comprising of 40 members. They each won €1.25 million after taxes. Before that, players waited a long and arduous seven months for the payout of €12,321,539 which went to one incredibly lucky lottery winner in August 2012. Despite the rolling SuperEnalotto jackpot, there have been a few winners of lower tier prizes over the last few months.

SuperEnalotto draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. You can purchase your SuperEnalotto tickets online at Lottery24.com.
